Breaking the LOL, Breaking the LOL!

If you know where that title reference is from, you're one step ahead of the nerd curve!

I haven't blogged in a really long time... I know, you were going through withdraws! So what are we going to cover today?

I was thinking some funny YouTube videos, a couple amazing stories on a new thing called Wattpad, and then we'll wrap it up with a serious note--Kony 2012.

YouTube or Not to Youtube, That IS the Question.

So I have to admit.. I've been a fan of this broad for awhile now, but never have I actually went as far as to blog about her.. Some of you may know her as Jenna Marbles!

"Do not tempt me Madeline, for you know not what I am." - Hotel Transylvania, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro

That is one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite books of all time! I frakkin' LOVE to read. With that being said, let me introduce you to Wattpad.

Wattpad is to writers, what YouTube is to amateur filmmakers.

Myself and my cousin, Kristin actually have stories there.. and I have to admit, if I wasn't writing them, I'd be a reader, no doubt.

Anyway, so here are some of my favorite stories on Wattpad right now, and I strongly encourage you to check them out, maybe even start one of your own if you get the inkling!

First off, is Life Lines. I'm on book two now, book one was phenomenal.

Life lines is a coming of age tale, except there is something incredibly different. People are born with tattoos, denoting what will happen in their life, who they will marry, etc... BUT, when you hit puberty there is a small chance you might become "Elite".. these people go through some changes, get violently ill and their tattoos change. The story follows Natalie Abernathy and her friends, family, enemies.. and honestly, with every chapter update I go directly to the site and read. THAT'S how good it is.

So here's the link to book one and book two of Life Lines by SCCourtney.

Also, if you're a sap like me.. you'll love this one. It's by AubreyEatsHearts, and boy does she ever...
The story is called Late Summer Rain. I can't tell you anything more, just read.

And lastly, The White Rabbit - if you love fairy tales, murder, mystery, suspense, thriller and having your perception on a classic tale flipped until you can't even imagine the original story being anything but what your new perception sees it as.. well this story is perfect for you. It's done by LullabyOfBlueHearts (myself and my cousin, Kristin.
